Equality On All Fronts?
There has been much publicity in the media lately about the
debate of whether to legally permit same sex couples to marry in

organisations. At present gay couples can enter into civil
partnership which gives them the same legal rights between each
other as married couples, but many feel they should be entitled to
marry in the same way as opposite sex couples.
The one matter that has been omitted from the debate, it is
suggested, is whether couples of different sex should be entitled
to enter into civil partnerships in the same way as same sex
