Simpson & Marwick offer a summer placement scheme in our
Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee offices. The summer
placement scheme is for students who are in the third year of
their LLB or first year of their accelerated LLB. Please click on

Our placements last for four weeks and take place each year
throughout June, July and August. The purpose of our summer
placement is to give students the opportunity to experience a
'mini-traineeship' in order to discover what life is really like as
a Simpson &
Marwick trainee.
"Doing a summer placement at Simpson and Marwick was great.
I didn't really know much about litigation and it was a perfect
introduction. I got a lot of varied and interesting work to do, and
wasn't simply photocopying or making partners' coffee! Everyone was
incredibly friendly and helpful, and it really boosted my
confidence in going forward."
