The Government has announced plans for a major shake up to the
Employment Tribunal system. Under the heading "Resolving
Workplace Disputes: A Consultation".
Simpson & Marwick are offering employers an opportunity to
become involving in the shaping of this new legislation. The
consultation period is open only until 20th April 2011. We
are hosting Breakfast Law-Bites, at each of our four Scottish
offices to gauge employer's views and reactions to these proposals
with a view to submitting a detailed consultation response.
These sessions will give employers a unique opportunity to
discuss the Government's proposals with fellow employers and our
own employment law experts, and help to shape the future of
Employment Tribunal litigation in the United Kingdom.
