A cancer patient from Bury is the latest person to suffer from Britain's compensation culture. Keith Bradshaw is paralysed from the neck down but ambulance workers are refusing to carry him downstairs in order to be transported to a hospital. They maintain that they are afraid of hurting themselves on his narrow staircase and have demanded that a risk assessment be carried out before Mr Bradshaw is moved.
