Louise is very experienced in residential conveyancing, having
worked in this field since joining the firm in 1989. She undertakes
sales and purchases both in the Edinburgh area and throughout
Scotland. She enjoys working closely with her clients to exceed
their expectations and is particularly sensitive to the needs of
those clients based outside Scotland who are not familiar with the
Scottish system.
With a serious interest in art and architectural
history, Louise is a Friend of the National Galleries of
Scotland, a member of the Art Fund, the Old Edinburgh Club and The
Cockburn Society. She attends art exhibititions and lectures, and
visits buildings of architectual interest throughout Scotland. As
one might expect, her favourite holiday destination is Paris, which
she describes as being endlessly fascinating.
Career
Qualified 1988, joined Simpson & Marwick 1989, Associate
from 1998.
Louise is a member of The Law Society of Scotland and is a
Notary Public.
