An intelligent and determined lawyer, with a wealth
of experience in defender litigation.
Marco is a key member of our first-class personal injury team,
and successfully assists insurance, commercial and public sector
clients. Known for his determined approach, he litigates in the
sheriff courts and in the Court of Session in the full range of
personal injury cases - employer's liability, public liability and
road traffic actions.
Marco particularly enjoys the written word, as a lawyer should.
He is a novelist, as yet unpublished, and recently reached the
quarter finals of a major US screenwriting competition. He enjoys
holidaying in Italy, where he still has family.
Career
Qualified 2003, joined Simpson & Marwick 2003, Associate
from 2011.
Marco is a member of The Law Society of Scotland.
Recent notable work includes:
MP v Sister Zoe O'Neill (2006). Marco was
involved in the successful time-bar defence of this historic abuse
case.
