A highly experienced tribunal advocate, Chris has advised on all aspects of employment law over the last 15 years.  He also advises businesses on how Discrimination law impacts on their service provision to the public. He is a member of the Scottish Discrimination Lawyers association and has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as an Employment law specialist since 2005.

Chris has broad experience in advising clients in the public, private and voluntary sectors, including employers in public sector finance, local government, further education, oil and gas, manufacturing, professional services, financial services, hospitality, Biotech/technology and agriculture. A regular speaker at conferences, seminars and client training events, he has contributed to numerous events over the years for Central Law Training, the Law Society and lectured at Heriot-Watt University on their occupational Health and Safety program.

Career

Qualified in July 1997. Joined as an Employment Law Partner in 2012 having worked previously at Maclay Murray and Spens LLP for 10 years. A member of the Scottish Discrimination Lawyers association, Employment Lawyers Association and Law Society of Scotland. An Accredited specialist since 2005.
