An occupational disease lawyer, specialising in asbestos litigation.

David is a first-class personal injury lawyer who now focuses almost entirely on occupational disease. With long experience in this field, he has particular expertise in asbestos litigation, and a significant caseload involving all disease types. David successfully defends his insurance and commercial clients in both the Court of Session and sheriff courts, and was recently involved  lobbying the Scottish Parliament on behalf of clients in respect of the Damages (Scotland) Bill which addresses fatal claims.

David is a keen athlete, regularly taking part in charity sporting events. He enjoys nothing more than returning home to Orkney to visit family and friends.

David is a regular speaker at Central Law Training and Simpson & Marwick client conferences, primarily addressing occupational disease.
