Accomplished personal injury litigator with
judicial review expertise.
An experienced litigator Katy's clients include insurers, local
authorities and public bodies. She successfully defends
personal injury cases in the Court of Session and sheriff courts
arising from the general public and employees. She is also
experienced in both catastrophic and occupational disease
claims. In addition to this she has a particular expertise
and a significant practice in judicial review and is a key member
of the team lauded in the Legal 500 guide for its
expertise in administrative and public law. Katy also leads
the fraud team.
Katy's ideal Sunday includes a long walk followed by a pub
lunch. She recently built on this by walking (and eating) her
way across the West Highland Way.

Kelly Morton v West Lothian Council (2008).
Katy successfully defended clients at proof and appeal in this £3
million case arising from a road traffic accident on black ice on a
local authority road.
