A market leader in Residential Property who heads our
award-winning department.
Richard leads the Edinburgh and East Lothian Residential
Property Departments, having specialised in residential purchases
and sales throughout his career. A non-executive director of
the ESPC, he is considered by others to be an expert in this
field. With a real enthusiasm for the property market, he
deals principally with the marketing of properties for his clients
and negotiating purchases and sales to best result. He was
instrumental in expanding the property practice by opening offices
in both Aberdeen and North Berwick.
Richard's department won Residential Property Team of the Year
at the Scottish Legal Awards in 2008 and 2010 and Conveyancing Firm
of the Year at the Law Awards of Scotland 2010.
Richard is an enthusiastic sportsman having played competitive
squash and cricket. He is now an extremely
keen golfer.
