Richard offers his clients considerable experience, having worked exclusively in the field of family law for many years.  Highly regarded by his peers, he is recommended in Chambers legal guide where he has been described as "personable and articulate yet tough when he needs to be".  Richard has particular expertise in resolving complex financial matters between spouses and in highly contentious child related cases.  Richard is accredited as a specialist in family law by The Law Society of Scotland and he is a key member of the firm's award-winning Family Law Team.
