Our insurer clients give very careful consideration to refusing
indemnity under a policy they have issued. Not only can a refusal
fall foul of the law and regulation, such decisions may attract bad
publicity. We advise on the interpretation of insurance policies,
and are very sensitive to issues of reputation in the event of
denying cover.
