The Civil Partnership Act 2004 introduced a
new form of legal relationship for same sex partners who choose to
register a Civil Partnership. That legal relationship has similar
rights and obligations to marriage.
Regrettably Civil Partnerships break down in
the same way as marriages and in those circumstances a range of
issues require to be addressed. We are well placed to offer expert
advice in the resolution of such matters.
We always attempt to resolve matters on behalf
of our clients without recourse to the Courts and seek favourable
settlements by means of negotiation.
